He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Garetto and Margaret Garetto (Lewis); his wife Irene Garetto; his daughter Delphyne Rae Garetto; and his sisters, Rosemary Post and Diane Cook.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Garetto (Marlo Panega), Danny Garetto (Chris), David Garetto-Barnett (Steve), Dawn Sparger (Rick) and Deanna Gorrell (Allen); his brother Michael Garetto (Char); and his grandchildren, Jennifer, Dana, Danny Jr., Kylee, Blake, Adrienne, Alex, Justin, George and Crystal. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
