He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Pfeifer and Emma Pfeifer (Heiniger); his daughter Karen Rosenbaum; and his siblings, Harold, Paul and Shirley Pfeifer.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Osburn; his sons, Gene Pfeifer (Diane) of Lafayette and Jim Pfeifer of Michigan City; his son-in-law Kevin Rosenbaum; and his brothers, Glenn Pfeifer (Nancy) and Kenneth Pfeifer (Becky).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Al's name to the Karen Rosenbaum Memorial Scholarship at Kouts High School.
