He was predeceased by: his parents, James D. Lynas and Rosemary Lynas (Kile); and his sister Janis Lynas. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Lynas of Walton; his children, Heather Shafer (Jesse) of Walton, Kendra Lynas (Todd See) of Macy and Kane Lynas (Rachel) of Logansport; his grandchildren, Kolton Lynas, Peyton Shafer, Dalton Frame (Claire), Nolan Shafer and Karleigh Frame; his great grandchild Rowan Lynas; his brother Steve Lynas (Teresa) of Kokomo; and his siblings-in-law, Cindy Baber (Jeff) of Walton and Mike Hedger (Leesa) of Kokomo. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
