He was predeceased by: his parents, George William and Irene Harness (Segraves); his wife Mary Olive; his brothers, Richard and David Harness; his son-in-law Torrence Horn; and his great-nephews, Mark Harness and Aaron Nicoll.
He is survived by: his children, Sarah Horn of Walton, Bill Harness (Cathy) of Galveston and Nancy Black (Roger) of Logansport; his grandchildren, Tim Erny (Michelle), Elizabeth Horn, Andrew Horn (Meggan), Nikki Cover (Jeremy) and Hanna Cox (Mitchel); his stepgrandchildren, Rick Byrd (Stacy), Kegan Byrd (Alleigh), Brad Fettig (Mandy) and Kristie Nelson (Nate); his great grandchildren, Max, Bennett, Charlotte Horn, Kendall, Finley and Emory Cox; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Keylie, Elizabeth Byrd, Madaline, Wyatt Byrd, Emily, Zac Lee, Cameron, Ethan Fittig, Logan Nelson, Caleb, Dylan, Blake and Allyssa Fittig; his great great grandchildren, Joseph, Daniel, Cecilia Fettig, Lindsey and Ozzy Lee; and his sisters, Phyllis Hood (Larry) and Rose Robertson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Upper Deer Creek Church (5019 E Co Rd 1400 S, Galveston, IN 46932). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
