He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Shriver and Mary Shriver (Jester); his brother Clifford Shriver; and his grandson Ben Miller. He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Beth Shanks (Jim) and Rosie Gonzalez (Alex); his siblings, Earline (Chuck) and Joe (June); his sister-in-law Barbara Shriver; his grandchildren, Matt Miller, Grant Gonzalez, Lydia Gonzalez and Jack Gonzalez; and his great grandchild Carter Miller.
