He was predeceased by: his parents, Hulet E Emberton and Renia Emberton (Gearls); the mother of his child Carole Emberton; his grandson James "Jimmy" Emberton; and his brothers, Marvin and Mitchell Emberton.
He is survived by: his son William H Emberton (Tammy) of Wonder Lake, IL; his stepdaughters, Juanita Malloy of Chicago, IL, Terry Ruiz (Willie) of Puerto Rico and Peggy Gripaldi; his brother Mole Emberton of Glasgow, KY; his nephews, Chris Emberton and Randy Emberton; and his grandchildren, Daniel E. and Danna of Wonder Lake, IL. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services (602 Maple Ave, La Porte, IN 46350).
