We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2023, at the age of 99, Virginia B. Cordell of Walkerton, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mervin Truex and Lorene Truex (Frailey); and her siblings, Wayne, Glen, Donald, Rev. Walter Truex, Joyce Miers and Lois Messick.
She is survived by: her husband Delbert Cordell; her sons, Michael Cordell (Carol) of Houston, TX and Timothy Cordell (Rosanne) of South Bend, IN; her grandchildren, Brent Cordell of Houston, TX, Alicia Boykin of Houston, TX, Alison Glenn (Chris) of South Bend, IN and Mary Jackson (Ashlee) of Walkerton, IN; her stepgrandson Dr. Jeffrey Nelson (Jacquie) of Hobbs, NM; and her siblings, Betty Sims of Kingman, AZ and Buehl "Sonny" Truex of Henderson, NV.. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; one step great-grandchild and one great-great-grandchild.
