He was predeceased by: his parent DeLois Awald; and his brother Paul Awald. He is survived by: his wife Karen Holm of Walkerton; his children, Julie Calvert (Scott) of Frankfort, IN and Matt Awald (Tammy) of Lakeville; his grandchildren, Hannah, Lucy and Adam; and his brothers, Tim Awald (Sue) of Walkerton, Dan Awald (Mary Ann) of Walkerton and Mark Awald.
