She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest "Bud" Ricks; her daughter Tammy Ricks; and her stepson Brett Ricks. She is survived by: her daughter Marlene Sherland (Marshall); her granddaughters, Holly Seese (Todd), Emily Campbell and Ehricha Sherland (Eric Doms); her great grandchildren, Ashley Smith (Brock), Lance "Scrub" Campbell (Logan), Macy Seese, Caleb Seese and Samantha Doms; her stepchildren, Doug Ricks and Sherry Eaton; and her great great grandchildren, Harper Smith, Tate Campbell and Silas Campbell.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Rannells Funeral Home - Koontz Lake Chapel (7984 IN-23, Walkerton, IN 46574). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the New Carlisle Cemetery (849 W Michigan St, New Carlisle, IN 46552).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the St. Joseph County Humane Society or Sarah Care Hospice in Nancy's memory.
