We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2024, at the age of 99, Branson E. Hiatt (Walkerton, Indiana), born in Kewanna, Indiana passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Branson E. Hiatt to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hiatt and Sarah Hiatt (McConaghey); his wife Mary Lou Widup; his siblings, Charles Robert "Bob" Hiatt, James Milton "Jim" Hiatt and Betty Louise Anderson; and his grandsons, Stephen Sherland and David Sherland.

He is survived by: his children, Marilyn Sherland (Charles) of Walkerton, Dr. William Hiatt (LaVerne) of Hendersonville, NC and Nancy Turner (John) of Walkerton. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Walkerton Area Historical Society, 302 Roosevelt Road, Walkerton, IN 46574.
