He was predeceased by: his father Elmer Swanson; and his wife Carolyn Schultz. He is survived by: his children, Jamie Monroe (Mike) of Rolling Prairie, Kim Warne (Brian) of Walkerton, Marcy Waldo of Westville and Brett Schultz (Angie) of Wakarusa. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren.
