He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph J. Patla and Sophie Patla (Francey); his son Roger Patla; his siblings, Stanley, Leo, Harry Patla, Ann Ksiazkiewicz, Sophie Lozier, Maggie Sipes and Helen Mohamed; and his granddaughter Emily.
He is survived by: his wife Fay Tener of Patrick's Church; his daughters, Sherry K. Flitter of La Porte, IN, Mary Nelson (Rob Jr.) of La Porte, IN and Peggy Day (Bill) of Fish Lake, IN; his grandchildren, Christopher (Tiffany), Malinda (Keith), Cassandra (Jimmy), Rachel (Jason), Nicole, Sara (Iain), Anna and Sydney; and his great grandchildren, Haley, Faith, Vinny, Landen, David, Isabella, Roger and Jamison. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
