She was predeceased by: her parents, James Eckstein and Josephine Eckstein (Lawver); her husband Norman Posz; her sister Norma Wilson; her son-in-law Jeff Hoban; and her pets, Baby and Oggie.

She is survived by: her daughters, Leesa Marie Hoban of Aurelia and Charlene Ann Merrill of Waldron; her son-in-law David Merrill of Waldron; her granddaughters, Rebecca Hoban Sangwin and Chelsea Preston; and her great grandchildren, Dalton Sangwin, Josephine Embacher, Brian Embacher and Colton Seman.
