He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Parsons and Sarah A. Davis; his wife Mary Jo Parsons; and his children, Mark Edwards, Michael Overholser and Diane.
He is survived by: his daughter April Guilherme of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by 34 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren.
