It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida Maye-Belle Cox of Waldron, Indiana, born in Shelbyville, Indiana, who passed away on December 28, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, LeRoy Aldridge and Thelma Aldridge (Engle); her husband Roy W. Cox; her siblings, Dorothy Allen, Kaye Aldridge, Laurel Aldridge, Raye Aldridge and Henry Aldridge; and her great grandchild Christian Anthony F. R. Ash.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wendy Dixon (John) of Shelbyville, Cindy Tucker (Donnie) of Waldron, Barbara Baker (Michael) of Massillon, Karen Martin (LeRoy) of Shelbyville and Sharon Cherry (Kent) of Waldron. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
