He was predeceased by: his parents, Artemas Goodwin and Ethel Goodwin (Bostic); his brother Bob Goodwin; his grandson Clint Allen; and his great grandchild Owen Grubbs.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Jean Goodwin (Leap); his children, Vicki Kuhn (Bill) of Rush County, Valerie Mathias (Michael) of Indianapolis, Vanessa Rynard (Bob) of Indianapolis and Valynda Laird (Kevin) of Bloomington; his sister June Ann Popplewell (David) of Indianapolis; his grandchildren, Andy Kuhn (Cari), Mary Trebley (Joe), Kelli Canup (Jason), Lori Grubbs (Jay), Ben Kappes, Whitney Surface (Lucas), Clay Allen, Kylie Wolfe (Ian), Christopher Krysevig (Emma), Zoie Rynard, Jennifer Black (Jordan), Nicholas Laird, Andrew Laird and Allie Webb (Justin); and his pet Vinnie. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.
