She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Urbin and Bertha Urbin (Metzger); her husband Dr. John B. Guttman; her daughter Amy Guttman; and her brother Robert Urbin.
She is survived by: her children, John R. Guttman (Becky) of Granger, Bebe Yoder of Hailey, ID and Cindy Buckles (Brian) of Green Bay, WI; her grandchildren, JJ Guttman (Crystal), Jackie Cooper (Scott), Jessie Miller (Matt), Stephanie Lindsay (Dan), Todd Yoder (Kat), Kyle Buckles, Amy Kohnhorst (Josh) and Hanna Newton (Eric); and her great grandchildren, Aiden, Alexis, Asher Guttman, Everett, Hudson Kohnhorst and Hallie Newton.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that friends and family continue Virginia's legacy of supporting her community. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Wakarusa Public Library, the Wakarusa United Methodist Church, or the Ronald McDonald House.
