He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Lawton, Sr. and Rebecca Lynn Weirick (Burkhead); and his grandson Juan Avalos, Jr.. He is survived by: his spouse Robin Putnam; his daughters, Tracy Avalos (David Rendon) of Elkhart, Rochelle Moles (Timothy) of Goshen and Rebecca Berry (Robert) of Allen, Texas; and his brother Raymond Lawton (Dusti) of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
