It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Getz of Wakarusa, Indiana, born in Elkhart, Indiana, who passed away on November 2, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert D. and Dorothy A.; and his siblings, Lynette Getz, Bruce Getz and Roger Getz.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Getz (Smet); his children, Scott Getz (Pam), Kerry Getz (Melissa) and Kent Getz (Shelley); his grandchildren, Austin, Ciara (Tony), McKennan (Hunter), Morgan, Garrett, Kash, Connor, Ashley, Adien, Chase, Brennon, Alasia, Kenley and Kase; his great grandchild Drake; and his siblings, Vicki Moyer (Martin) and Mark Getz (Debora).
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Rmyc Building (24717 Co Rd 44, Nappanee, IN 46550).
