She is survived by: her children, Laura Balasa, Bryan Balasa (Pam), Bruce Balasa, Mishawaka, Bradley Balasa (Nicole) and Nappanee; her sisters, Joy Banicki, Plymouth, Sue Norton (Will), Loganville and Georgia; and her siblings-in-law, Connie Heminger (Dick) and Mike Balasa (Carol).
