He was predeceased by: his wife Gwenlyn K. Sheets (Smith); his mother Ethel M. Shively (Sheets); his half-brothers, Robert Shively and William Shively; and his daughter-in-law Gloria Sheets.
He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Sheets (Teresa) of Wakarusa and Harry S. Sheets Jr. of Colorado Springs; and his grandchildren, Daniel Sheets, Twila Rezutko (David) and Candria Sheets. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
