Sabrina McCarty Obituary

We bid farewell to Sabrina McCarty of Wadesville, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 2, 2025 at the age of 66. Sabrina touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parent Abie Basden; and her daughter Emily McCarty. She is survived by: her mother Ruth Basden (Landreth); her children, Lucas McCarty (Cailee), Sarah Branson, Amy McCarty, Anna McCarty and Rebekah Hirano (Kousuke); her stepsons, Tim and Tom McCarty; her grandchildren, Savanah, Annabell Branson and Kaoru Hirano; and her siblings, Edgar Basden (Melissa), Mike Basden (Jennifer) and Terri Basden.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt. Zion General Baptist Church (1425 Oliver Rd, Wadesville, IN 47638). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
