He was predeceased by: his parents, Cedric Anthony Rexing and Marilyn Ross Rexing (Morris); his daughter Brandy Rhea; and his brothers, Chris and Ricky Rexing.

He is survived by: his close friend Terry Schnarr; his wife Lisa Rexing (Poag); his daughters, Bambi Meredith (Steven) and Brook Rexing; his stepdaughter Ashley Lindsey (Faren); and his sister Patti Capps (Jeff). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and other extended family and friends.
