He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Weiss and Justina Weiss (Kiesel); his former wife Doris Weiss (Willett); his wife Charlotte Weiss (Stratman); his son Lee Weiss; his siblings, Alvina Schneider, Anthony and Leroy Weiss; his sons-in-law, Stan Melton and Roger Melton; his granddaughter Libby Weiss; and his great grandchild Darian Clark.
He is survived by: his children, Terrie Melton, Donna Brown (Randy), Cathy Funkhouser, Elizabeth Tooley (Cliff), Jeanette Melton, Marie Hoffman (James), Mary Jane Dewar (Shawn), Rose Thomason, Virginia "Ginny" Minton, Jim Weiss, Bob Weiss, Ralph Weiss (Carrie) and Andy Weiss (Mary); his sisters, Marie Gumbel and Florentine Pfettscher; his sister-in-law Rose Weiss; and his caregivers, Charlotte, Eugene, Mary, Andy, Steve Luigs and John Luigs.
