He is survived by: his wife Gladys Carpenter of Wabash; his children, Kimberly Rowe (Mike Figert) of Urbana, Teresa Correll (Hampton) of LaFontaine and William K. "Bud" Carpenter, Jr. of LaFontaine; and his grandchildren, Shaylee Correll of Indianapolis and Breklon Salyers of Urbana.
