She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Cooper and Mary Cooper (Cole); and her children, Tracy Barnhill and Joyce Dicembre. She is survived by: her husband Roland Smith of Wabash, Indiana; her children, Daniel Barnhill of Sparrow Point, David Barnhill of Baltimore, Maryland, Dale Fox (Tom) of Baltimore and Amy Salas of Florida; and her siblings, Clarence "Doc" Cooper (Chris) of Wabash, Indiana, Frances Johnstone (David) of Wabash and Ethel Hill of Prestonsburg, Kentucky. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
