It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Lee Leland of Wabash, Indiana, who passed away on October 29, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, D. L. Leland and Bertha Leland (Martin); his siblings, Abe Leland, Verona Smith and Janice Zimmerman; and his grandchildren, Lisa Marie Creasey, Brad Creasey and Kristy Wilhelm.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Leland of Wabash; his children, Jeffery Leland (Dixie) of Andrews, Rhonda King (Danny) of Wabash, IN and Paula Holmes (Rick) of Lagro; his grandchildren, Josh Leland (Tara) of Wabash, Tina Smith (Josh) of Fort Wayne, Jeffery Stevens of Fort Wayne, Doug Kellams of San Antonio, Graydon Holmes of Wabash, Hannah Holmes of Lagro and Cody Holmes of Lagro; and his siblings, Wendell Leland of Wabash, Debbie Leland of Fishers and Anne Leland of Taiwan. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
