It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Eugene Bever Sr. of Wabash, Indiana, who passed away on April 1, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Bever and Nellie Mae Bever (Ply); and his siblings, Ralph Bever, Robert Bever, John Bever, Frank Bever, James Bever and Mary Jane Knotts.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Bever of Wabash; his children, Deborah Custer (Dean) of Lagro and Thomas E. Bever, Jr. (Barbara) of Roann; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Bever (Teresa) of North Manchester, Gina Dale (Shane) of Huntington, Katie Pratt (Kevin) of Roann, Jay Custer (Kim) of Lagro and Jill Beamer of Wabash. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandsons.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service (1241 Manchester Ave, Wabash, IN 46992). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Lawns Cemetery (1100 Manchester Ave, Wabash, IN 46962).
