He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Thomas and Phoebe Olga Houlihan (Millican); his siblings, Mary K. Prickett, Barbara Ann Stickley, Sarah J. Bertels, Nan Cook, Paul "Joe" Houlihan, James "Pat" Houlihan and Alvin "Jeff" Houlihan; and his stepmother Beulah Lilves.
He is survived by: his wife Marcella Houlihan of Wabash; and his children, Dale Houlihan (Janet) of Wabash, Lisa Dale (Larry) of Wabash, Tim Houlihan (Jane) of Wabash, Scott Houlihan (Vickie) of Wabash and Judy Stearns (Vic) of Laporte. He is also survived by 16 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren.
