He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Rice and Emma Lou Rice (Stone); and his sister Susan K. Rice. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Rice of Lagro; his children, Cory Rice (Erin) of Lagro and Jami Metzger (Brad) of Wabash; his grandchildren, Colton Rice, Emily Rice of Lagro, Marissa Metzger of Wabash, Keaton Metzger of Wabash and Kyleigh Metzger of Wabash; and his siblings, Thomas Rice (Melissa) of Lagro, Barbara Biehl (Dennis) of North Manchester, Jane Houlihan (Tim) of Wabash and Laurie Shafer (Randy) of Wabash.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service (1241 Manchester Ave, Wabash, IN 46992). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Lagro Fellowship Church (1100 Main St, Lagro, IN 46942).
