He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Ladema Ross, Sr. (Bowman). He is survived by: his wife Joan C. Vogt; his children, Shirley Staniford (Tom) of Wabash and Russell Ross, Jr. (Cynthia) of Wabash; his sister Laura Wilburn of Andrews; his grandsons, Christopher Ross and Jonathan Ross; and his great grandchildren, Leila Ross, Conner Ross and Savannah Ross.
