He was predeceased by: his mother Joyce M. Denton (Hardacre); his brother-in-law Billy J. Foshee; and his nephew Nathan Denton. He is survived by: his father Richard M. "Dick" Denton of Huntington; his wife Debbie Denton; his daughter Brandy Jo Denton of Wabash; and his siblings, Cindy Foshee of Markle, Indiana and Terry Denton (Kathy) of Huntington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Preferred memorial is the Charity of the Donor's choice.
