He was predeceased by: his father Lester H. Carr; his siblings, Lester Henry "Sonny" Carr, Leslie Lee "Punky" Carr and Debra Sue Carr; and his significant other Lisa Lothridge.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Gene Karst (Crystal) of Noblesville and Summer Nickole Lothridge of Wabash; his stepsons, Johnathan Karst of Lagro and Clinton Karst of Lagro; his grandchildren, Cara Karst of Noblesville, Owen Karst of Noblesville and Luke Karst of Noblesville; and his siblings, Linnie Carr of Wabash, Earnest Troy Hurt of Wabash, Cathy France (Jerry) of Wabash and Tina Kay Carr of Texas.
