He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ann Rogers of Wabash; his children, Lou Ann Shoemaker (Michael) of Wabash, IN and Larry Dean Rogers (Robin) of Swayzee, IN; his grandchildren, Ryan Shoemaker (Georganne) of Mentone, IN, Courtney Tobias (Tyler) of Columbia City, IN, Richard H. "Rick" Shoemaker of Urbana, IN and Logan Rogers (Janel) of Portage, IN; and his great grandchildren, Eli Shoemaker, Elliana Shoemaker, Knox Tobias, Hannah Tobias, Gabrielle Castro and Lucy Castro.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Richland Chapel United Methodist Church, Converse, IN.
