He is survived by: his wife Marcia Joan Shoemaker; his children, Kim Steele (Kathleen) of Leesburg, Kerry Steele (Linda) of Wabash, Kyle Steele (Mindy) of Wabash, Kathy Steele of Wabash and Karla Stouffer (Alan) of Roann; his grandchildren, Kristopher Steele (Kathleen) of Fort Wayne, Amanda Christiansen (Jared) of Fort Wayne, Tisha Steele of Kokomo, Hayley Evans of Wabash, Jeremy Steele (Patty) of Wabash, Megan Hyden of Wabash, Megan Dafoe (Stephen) of Wabash, Josh Steele (Kristine) of Wabash, Nathan Stouffer (Savannah) of Roann and Ethan Stouffer (Abby) of North Manchester; and his siblings, Betty Bonewitz of North Manchester, Harley Steele (Ellouise) of New Liberty, William Steele (Becky) of North Manchester and Richard Steele (Diane) of North Manchester. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
