He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernon Wilber Woodward (Woody) and Alberta Jayne Woodwards (Marks); and his nephews, Nicky Bernon Reed and Larry Lee Black. He is survived by: his sister Janet Black (Woodward) of Wabash; his niece Angie Garman Peyton (Craig) of Louisville, KY; his nephew Phillip Scott Black (Luchita) of Las Vegas, Nevada; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Phillip Black (Kristen), Kalie Carlton (Jono), Kyle Peyton, Patrick Black, Shayna Peyton and Steven Bernon Black; and also, Jackson, Audrey, Hayes Alexander and Kai Jackson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wabash Chapel (231 Falls Ave, Wabash, IN 46992). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025.
