With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Naomi J. Davenport of Wabash, Indiana, born in Converse, Indiana, who passed away on December 15, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Merle and Lelia Mae Sailors (Miller); her sons, Dale Davenport and David Davenport; her daughter-in-law Cathy Davenport; and her siblings, Max Sailors and Kathryn Scholes.
She is survived by: her husband William M. Davenport; her children, Darrell Lee Davenport of Wabash, Marilyn Marie Davenport of Wabash, Mark William Davenport of Roann, Dean Eldon Davenport (Cassy) of Logansport and John Rex Davenport (Barbara) of Peru; her daughter-in-law Sherrie Davenport of Louisa, Virginia; her grandchildren, Heather Elza (Jesse) of Fort Wayne, Cayla Jackson (AJ) of Fort Wayne, Carrie Becker (Matthew) of Orlando, Sarah Schwarz II (John) of Royal Center and Brian Davenport (Amelia) of Noblesville; and her great grandchildren, Jakob Schwarz of Royal Center, Leo Schwarz of Royal Center, Lucas Schwarz of Royal Center, William Davenport of Noblesville and Bryson Elza of Fort Wayne. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Preferred memorial is Wabash County Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
