He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Speicher and Ruth Speicher (Rager); his sister Lodema Kirby; his niece Karen Thompson; and his nephews, Jay Hoch and Wayne Hoch.

He is survived by: his nieces, Judith Wray (Donna Prince) of Indianapolis, Anita Ketchem (Rudy) of Wabash, Colleen Gatzimos-Reed (Gregg) of Wabash and Coral Kirby of Wabash.
