She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Scheffer and Clara Scheffer (Reutebuch); her children, Patricia Novak and Ronald Ellet; and her siblings, Charles, Herman, Lawrence Scheffer, Gertrude Mary Brownell, Janetta Tucker and Theresa Kern.
She is survived by: her spouse John J. Ellet; her children, Marlene K. Erb (Robert) of Fort Wayne, Carol L. Hess of Wabash, Donna M. Worthman (Martin) of New Haven, Frank A. Ellet (Tammy) of Wabash, John T. Ellet (Wendy) of Roann and Theresa J. Drefke (John) of Fort Wayne; her children-in-law, Daryl Novak of Churubusco and Tonnie Ellet of Albion, Indiana; and her brother Anthony G. Scheffer (Marilyn) of Warsaw. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and one great great grandson.
