He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Jane Karns of Wabash; his children, Kimberly Jones (Clarence Jr.) of Wabash, April Welsh (Bill) of Wabash and Daniel Dean Karns (Kristine) of Wabash; his grandchildren, Missy Bowling (Jeff) of Wabash, Amy Yoakum (John) of Wabash, Mike Jones (Emily) of Roann, Erica Miller (Curtis) of Springville, Ashley Hendry (Tim) of Scottsdale, Chad Bever (Krystal) of Nashville, Amie Jones of Wabash, Kelli Karns of Wabash and Danielle Karns of Wabash; and his sister Anna Lee Biehl (Max) of Urbana. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
