It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Katherine Mitting of Wabash, Indiana, born in Terre Haute, Indiana, who passed away on February 17, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter McGinn and Mary Lavon McGinn (Risley); her brother Robert E. McGinn; and her grandson David Mitting. She is survived by: her former spouse Lynn Ford; her husband Robert H. Mitting; her children, Susan Ford Rohr of Roann, Stephen Ford of Pendleton and Melissa Ford Showalter of Wabash; her stepsons, Robert S. Mitting (Sue) of Wabash, William Mitting of Wabash, Gregory Mitting of Roann and Michael Mitting of Syracuse; and her nieces, Susie Baker (Tom) of Fort Wayne and Mary Ann Bliss (Daniel) of Rockville, Maryland.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, many great grandchildren.
