We are sad to announce that on January 28, 2025, at the age of 84, Larry Joe Wente (Wabash, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert A. Wente and Philomena "Minnie" Wente (Wendt). He is survived by: his wife Diane Wente of Somerset; his children, Laura Snyder (Dale) of Keller, Susan Wente of Easton and Brent Wente (Michelle) of Solon, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Cory Snyder (Heather), Lily Horak (Rylan), Hallie Snyder, Casey Snyder, Alex LaFleur, Audrey LaFleur, Abby Wente and Carter Wente.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service (1241 Manchester Ave, Wabash, IN 46992). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Bernard Catholic Church (188 W Sinclair St, Wabash, IN 46992). The inurnment will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at the Memorial Lawns Cemetery (1100 Manchester Ave, Wabash, IN 46962).
