He is survived by: his wife Pat Wright; his children, Michele C. Ilyas (Idrees) of Wabash and Michael Wright (Sara) of Wabash; his sister Velma L. Porter (Charles) of Wabash; his grandchildren, Jordan, Liam, Alexander and Lauren; and also Fort Wayne.
In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials are to be directed to American Legion Post No. 15 in Wabash, Indiana.
