We are sad to announce that on July 15, 2019, at the age of 91, John R. Shumaker (Wabash, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Shumaker and Lola Smith (Warner); his brothers, Clarence and Billy Shumaker; and his great grandchild Rose Shumaker.

He is survived by: his spouse Jean Shumaker (Renicker); his children, Marybeth Bollinger (William) of Roanoke, John D. Shumaker (Tephanie) of Columbia City, Steve Shumaker (Agnes) of Boulder Creek, CA and Randal Shumaker of Bozeman, MO; and his sisters, Betty Bolsover of Wabash, IN. and Georgia Metzger of Wabash, IN.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
