He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathaniel Day and Thelma E. "Betty" Day (Hinkle); his granddaughter Sophia Wilcox; and his brother Donald Day. He is survived by: his wife Betty Day of Wabash; his children, Teresa Heitz (John) of Wabash, Johnny Day (Brenda) of Roann and Debra Hardin of LaFontaine, Indiana; his grandchildren, Mikel Grimm of Deltona, Frank Grimm of Rochester, John Day (Brandy) of Wabash, Tabetha Day of Wabash, Sylvia McCallen (Bryan) of Wabash and Stephanie Hardin of Wabash; his siblings, Joann Carr of Wabash, Mary DeLauter (Gene) of Wabash and Robert Day (Bonnie) of Wabash; and his sister-in-law Sharon Day of Bloomington, Indiana.. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren.
