She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Hartman and Edith Hartman (Auer); and her husband Dr. Carl J. Elward. She is survived by: her children, Susan Thacker (Robert) of Atlanta, Karen Littrell (Steve) of Lebanon, Janet Ulrich of Pittsburgh, Michael Elward (Sherri) of Roann, Patrick Elward (Ellen) of Fishers and Teri Caron (Jeff) of Rockford, Illinois. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
