He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard DeBoard and Beatrice DeBoard (Kilgore); and his sister Mildred Schonborn. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Loper of Muncie, Dawn Miner, Rachael "Shelly" DeBoard, Bryan DeBoard of Phoenix and Gretchen Miracle (Jim) of Bunker Hill; and his siblings, Charlotte Rattliff of Mousie, Kenneth DeBoard (Evelyn) of Thelma, John DeBoard (Eulagene), Glen DeBoard (Shirley) and Brenda Erdell (Mickey) of Lexington. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
