He is survived by: his wife Carol Krom of Urbana; his sons, Chris Krom of Panhandle, Tony Krom (Rosie) of Wabash, Terry Krom (Carla) of Wabash and Todd Krom (Lisa) of Wabash; his grandchildren, Nick Krom (Megan) of Urbana, Kimberly Krom of Wabash, Jeremy Krom (Brittney) of Roann, Andrew Krom (Nikki) of North Manchester, Keri Schultz (Chris) of Wabash, Joni Fox (Jesse) of Liberty Center, Amy Osborn (Jared) of Peru, Taylor Becker (Clark) of Reelsville, Lane Keaffaber of Oregon and Erin Keaffaber of Oregon; his sister Lynn Knee of Fort Wayne; and his sister-in-law Nancy Krom of Wabash. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
