He is survived by: his father Rex Bever; his wife Kara Bever; his children, Zachary Bever (Jasmine Whitmer), Katie McCauley and Kasey Long; his sisters, Cindy Renbarger (Randy) and Jeanne Atkinson (Kevin); his mother-in-law Marcia Short; and his brothers-in-law, Kirk Short (Jody) of Wabash, Indiana, Kyle Short (Barb) of Wabash, Indiana and Kent Short of Wabash, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
