As we bid Janice Kay farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Janice Kay is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin C. Hettmansperger and Naida Mary Hettmansperger (Ferguson); her brother Nevin Hettmansperger; and her sister-in-law Sandra Hettmansperger (Jefferson). She is survived by: her siblings, Neil Hettmansperger (Paulette) of Walton, Indiana and Sue Ann Bakehorn (Jim) of Fort Wayne. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service (1241 Manchester Ave, Wabash, IN 46992). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at the Friends Cemetery.
Preferred memorials are Alzheimer's Association, Operation Preborn, or Riley Children's Hospital.
